Taekwondo

Dansk

In this Easter I was at an international Taekwondo camp in Ikast, Denmark. We were 60 participants from four different countries.
Taekwondo is a very old Korean Martial Art that looks a little like ballet. The difference between Taekwondo and karate is that you only mark the strikes here, and the difference between Taekwondo and Brasilian jiu-jitsu is that you don't grab each other here. 4-5 years ago I did Brasilian jiu-jitsu and it is a refined kind of wrestling.
Taekwondo is not only Martial Art tecnichs but also a way of living – a holisme that has influence at all parts of your life. It suits very well to my own attitude to life that we should be in balance at all four levels: Body, mind, soul and environment.

For the third time in two years I have experienced not to have any aches or pains after that I have been extremely fysically active in a very short period of time. I participated in everything together with the young people at 20 and 30 years and despite my 47 years of age I did very well. When we should hop I could hop as long and as fast as the others. The oldest participan was about 60 years.

I am totally convinced that my fantastic fysical habitus primary is because I take some good natural nessesary supplements that gives my body the building blocks that the body needs – in order to function optimally.

Every morning during the camp I could get up without pains or aches. Of course I could feel that I had BEEN USING my body the previous day, but it didn't hurt anywhere and I was full of energy.

Twice the last two years I have experienced this. First time was in a weekend where I moved 1½ tonnes of furniture two stories up. Of course I was tremendously tired but neither sore og crushed.

The second time was at the Camino walk last year, where I had no problems at all with my feet or legs the first 12 days. And I walked on average 25 km a day in up to 37 degrees Celcius with 10-12 kg on my back.…..

Last week one of my friends told me that she had recently been in a surgery. The difference between this and the other surgeries was that this time she got over it much faster and was up and going and at full swing after only one week. She takes the same supplements as I do.

The reason why I wear a blue Gie is because some years ago did Brasilian jiu-jitsu.
