Were you aware that this possibility excisted?
I didn't know anything about luxury sailing ships in this fantastic climate untill one of my good friends annonced a week's course with the title:
”Inspiration seminar.
If life was a fairy tale how would yours look like?
Create the life you want!”
It sounded intersting with the sailing ship - with the combination of self development and bathing holiday.
It showed up that the benefit by FAR exceeded my expectations. At all levels.
We were 12 course members (9 women and 3 men), 2 instructors, and a crew of 4 Turkish men.

THE SHIP
Two masted luxuary sailing ship with 8 double cabins with individual shower and toilet.
Big covered aft deck for education and dining, and a big front deck for sun bathing.
THE WATERS
The Turkish Waters in the south eastern part of Turkey.
After 4 days sailing we spent the night in port, but the rest of the week we were anchoring and moved around between the beautiful islands and bays at least once a day
One of the best things about sailing around in this way is that I really enjoyed not to have eny responsibility for the ship or the navigation. I used to sail as a skip mate and captain at small and big ships. Last time I did that was a year ago where I was master marine on a big sailing boat in the waters around Mallorca, Spain.

As a captain you never relax completely. You are always on your guard regarding the weather and if something should happen with concequences for the crew and ship.
But here I relaxed very much.
THE WEATHER
I extended the Danish summer with a wonderful week.
There was not a cloud in the sky. The day temperature was very nicely around 30 degrees C / 86 degrees F
and every night except the first we slept on the deck in about 20 degrees C / 68 degrees F.
The water temperature was a little more than 20 degrees C / 68 degrees F and we went bathing several time a day.
THE FOOD
A lot of small meals during the day, well prepared, versatile, delicious and in abundances.
We were waited on hand and foot by the kind and competent crew.
THE DAY
In the morning I woke up at about 6am and enjoyed the terrific sunrises.
At about 8 o'clock we had breakfast with a lot of different fresh fruit and cheese and bread.
Before noon there were a couple of hours education and the same in the afternoon. The education was intensive and deep so it was good with the many refreshing breaks with relaxation, sunbathing, swimming and snorkel diving.
In the town where we were in port there was a wonderful Turkish steam bath with subsequent oil massage.
MY FOCUS
This seminar was based on the principles from among things the movie "The Secret" www.thesecret.tv with "The Law of Attraction".
At the seminar we used affirmations, focus technichs, Thought Field Therapy, Blocking removers, Miracle Method, wish list, meditation, re-birthing, breathwork, Power Words, therapy, sharing, forgiving, intuitive painting, and so on, and so on.....
I have for many years lived a well balanced life where I do and live as it pleases me.
There is just one thing missing from my life…. an adventurous Woman in my life who likes to travel and who would like to come with me on these kind of trips. All enquires welcome! ;-)
I educate and coach people in finding and reaching their goals and I am very good at that, but even the most skilled therapist and coach need a good supervisor and other seminars to have input in his or hers own life.
That is why I was so excited about this seminar.
THE RETURN HOME
It was rather strange to wear my shoe after a week with bare feet.
And it was not pleasant to have to stand temperatures below 25 degrees C / 72 degrees F again......
But it was a huge pleasure for me two days after I came home to participate in a lecture with Eckhart Tolle in Tivoli Garden's concerthall. He has among other books written "The power of Now". It correspond very well what I have been through the previous week. See www.eckharttolle.com
This journey has not been "just" another trip. We met an evening before we started, and we have agreed that we will meet afterwards too. It is like that with most of the journeys I have done.
Good deep meaningful relations with other people is worth a lot.
I strive to live like that all my life.
I want to leave again soon. No doubt about that. Next time hopefully also with the Woman of my life.......

THE FUTURE
I would like to do seminars myself in this setting. In fact I started my own selfemployed business 14 years ago with an idea of a Team Building Course on a sailing ship. I did 2 courses before my interests and activities went in another direction. So the idea is still there.
The concept with a ship in a nice climate is brilliant because it is both effective regarding education and it is at the same time very pleasant.
